No one is in charge of Ghost Bike. It is often anonymous. Someone put it up. No one knows who. Not BikeABQ. Obviously the Mayor of Albuquerque does not like want them and someone putting them up could maybe charge with a crime I don't know, littering, graffiti ?
So we don't want to know who puts them up. But with the blatant removal of the first one I wouldn't be surprised if they suddenly started showing up at Comanche & North Diversion Channel, NE (Roy Sekreta) Pennsylvania & Comanche NE ( Paula Higgins), Southbound Frontage road & San Francisco ( Transient), Trumbull & Valencia SE ( Pablo Murillo) and now sadly Pennsylvania & Zuni. That is fucked up. Who's in charge of Ghost Bike here? I'll make them a bike with a welded cranks, headset, and wheels, maybe even a rusty nail coming up through the saddle. Either it's gone or invisible but I couldn't see it today when I went by Commanche and Paseo del Nordeste bike trail. The city is constructing something at the site so workers might have removed it.
