There are many good sessions at the Smart Cycling Conference. ( see below)
We should figure out who from New Mexico is going and share information from the different sessions.
I turned in my application yesterday.
We should also see about ride sharing or getting a group rate on airfare. Unfortunately I won't be able to participate as I will be arriving the previous weekend to conduct one of the LCI Seminars.

Every two years, the League hosts a conference geared specifically towards education and our educator network: thatâs you! And the conference is Smart Cycling 2009: Setting New Directions.
As you know from this list-serve, our Smart Cycling program is in the middle of a complete overhaul. Since 2008, weâve launched Traffic Skills 101, Traffic Skills 201, Group Riding, and completely revised our Commuter Student curriculum. Weâve still got plenty left to do, and are working furiously to get more finished before the June conference: Our kids manuals need to be redone, and our entire League Cycling Instructor Curriculum has to be updated to reflect these new materials, changing media, new information and experience.
We need your help!
Come to San Jose this summer to talk about the best way to teach cyclists; to help the League continue to improve our curricula; and to hear news and updates from the foremost cycling educators in the world.
Here is the draft conference agenda, always subject to change.
