It would be a great benefit to Trips For Kids Rio Grande, the newly re-emerging local chapter of national non-profit, Trips For Kids, if this Thursday, may 14th, an LCI would be willing to volunteer to give a brief (20-30 min.) pre-ride talk about road safety. If you are unfamiliar with Trips For Kids Rio Grande, it is an organization of volunteers who arrange and lead bicycle rides, primarily mountain, for at-risk youth, to offer educational and experiential opportunities that the children may otherwise not have. If you can volunteer (around 3pm or 4) and come up with a brief talk that would illustrate key points that would be helpful for safe riding, please contact us at <
tfkriogrande at hotmail dot com> or, if that doesn't work, you can contact me.
Craig, can you please send me the address of the listserve for local LCI's or forward this, if that is
easier? Thanks.
